ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

 

•CORRECTION - The Miscellaneous A/R Invoice Screen was leaving a blank record in the batch when an invoice was started and then saved with no information.  The invoice would not show on the screen but would cause a "prior period transactions" error when the batch was attempting to post.  The only work around was to clear the bad record using the Modify Data option.  This problem has been corrected and any incomplete invoice entries will automatically be removed from the batch once the Save Button has been clicked.

 

 

ACCUBUILD MOBILE  

 

•NEW FEATURE - A new option has been added to the AccuBuild Mobile Settings Screen which allows for the job cost phase list to be filtered based on the phase decimal position in order to reduce the number of cost phases that the user has to scroll through when entering time cards via a mobile device.  For example, if the cost phase list has been set up with decimal points that represent labor phases, such as ".01", ".02" etc, a filter can now be set up in the mobile settings screen to choose which decimals to include on the phase list lookup control.

 

 

MY ACCUBUILD REPORTS

 

•CORRECTION - A formula on the Payroll Detail Report by Job has been corrected in this release for the following reports:

 

•Prrep13c.636 - Payroll Detail Report by Job – Week Ending Date
•Prrep13d.637 - Payroll Detail Report by Job – Trans Date

 

•ENHANCEMENT - A new version of Virginia Billing form CO-12 Rev 10/10 (JCBillV2.211) has been added to the MAR forms library.

 

 

JOB COST

 

•CORRECTION - The Delete Phase option on the history tab of the job list was allowing a cost phase to be deleted from the job when there were payable invoices on the job.  A correction was made to check for open payable invoices on the job before allowing the phase to be deleted.

 

•ENHANCEMENT - A new version of Virginia Billing form CO-12 Rev 10/10 (JCBillV2.211) has been added to the MAR forms library.

 

 

PAYROLL

 

•NEW FEATURE - The Union Code Screen has been enhanced with a new copy option which now allows existing groups of union codes to be copied to a new union code.  This new feature will make it much easier to set up new sets of union / prevailing wage codes.  

 

•NEW FEATURE - A new feature called Labor Distribution Codes has been added to the payroll module in order to make payroll time card entries faster and better for all time card entry methods including AccuBuild Mobile.  In addition to making time card entry faster, this new feature will help to eliminate coding errors for the various Labor Distribution Codes aka "LDCs" which include: workers comp codes, union (prevailing wage) codes, state codes, and department codes.

 

This feature allows you to pre-define the default LDCs for each job cost phase and works with both the Phase Master List as well as the Job Cost Phases for each individual job.  When a time card entry is charged to a cost phase that is linked to a LDC, the related codes will be updated on the time card entry automatically. NOTE:   When LDCs are incorporated, they will override any other time card entry 'business rules' for automated field entry features including the default codes set up for each employee in the employee list.

 

•ENHANCEMENT – The Time Card Worksheet Screen has been enhanced with several features including complete integration with the new Labor Distribution Codes feature.  Several new audit trail features have been added in order to keep track of all time card record changes including a complete audit log of each Time Card Worksheet session.  Please refer to the Time Card Worksheet documentation for more information.

 

•ENHANCEMENT – The Time Card Import Feature for 3rd Party Software Vendors has been enhanced to integrate with the new Labor Distribution Codes (LDCs) feature.

 

•The Pays Tab of the Employee Screen has been updated with a new field called Union Work Class which works in conjunction with the new Labor Distribution Codes to automatically change the decimal position on a union code to the employee's specific class from 01 to 99.

 

•CORRECTION - When printing automatic payroll checks using the MAR Check format, if the Cancel Button was pressed on the print dialog, the MAR Screen was still being displayed as if the checks were printed and the payroll menu was being updated as if the checks were completed and ready for posting.  This bug has been corrected and now the system will cancel the check print job correctly and no longer enable the posting operation until the checks are run without the cancel option.

 

•The following State withholding tax tables for 2013 have been updated in this release:

 

•Conneticut

•Missouri

•New Mexico

•Vermont

 

 

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

 

•CORRECTION - The initial settings for the AB7Forms.INI file was being written to the root folder of the AccuBuild Program Installation disk drive which was causing security issues in some network environments.  This problem has been corrected and these initial settings are now written to the Windows "AppData" directory where all of the other user profile settings reside.

 

•CORRECTION – The Call Home License Validation routine was causing AccuBuild to load slow when a customer's file server had very strict firewall controls that were not allowing the call home process to be carried out.  

 

This process has been modified to delay the next call home process for 30 days instead of continuing to call home with each log in process of the AccuBuild Program.  The program start up process will only be delayed for one time every 30 days until the firewall issues are addressed.  The call home process is necessary to monitor the AccuBuild licensed user counts for AccuBuild, AccuBuild Mobile, and the Advantage Database Server for both site licenses and cloud licenses.

 

In addition, the call home failure will now be logged in the User Activity Log as an "Unexpected Error" type.  Refer to the File > Browse User Activity Log documentation for more information.
