Trucking System Controls

The System option provides access to the master files for the Hand Tag Codes, Employee Control Fields, and the PUC Classifications in the Trucking System.

The PUC Classifications control how the system will group the sales figures for all of the various hand tag codes into the specific sales categories that are required for PUC reporting.  These codes must be set up before the hand tag codes may be entered.

The Hand Tag Codes dictate the accounting controls for each freight and citrus bill as well as define the driver's settlement percentage per load and PUC tax percentage per load.  

The Employee Control Fields enable you to assign a pay percentage per load to any driver that is an employee.  This option pulls the employee information from the Payroll System and the pay percentage will override the hand tag code assigned to the bill.
