System Security Features

AccuBuild contains two separate features that are used together to restrict user access.  Each user in the system is set up with a personal login name and password.  If there are multiple companies set up on your system, then each user should have a different login name/password for each company (this will prevent accidental entry into the wrong company).  Each user is also assigned a security level.  This level is controlled by the Menu Settings option.  In addition, each user's access can be further restricted by selecting the appropriate menu or report options on the Restrictions Tab of the User Maintenance Screen.

In addition to the access rights that may be established for each user, AccuBuild may also be set up to log the activity of each user which can be helpful in troubleshooting error messages.  Click on the Enable User Activity Log option to begin the record tracking for all users.  This log may then be accessed through the File > Browse User Activity Log option.
