The File > System Administrator > Browse Data option allows all of the company or user data tables to be opened in their raw format with read-only access.  The File > System Administrator > Company Inquiries option provides the same access to company tables with a more user-friendly interface so it is recommended that the Company Inquiries option be used instead of the Browse Data option.  Use the File > System Administrator > Modify Data option to access user tables if needed.

 

Warning:  Due to the nature of the Browse Data option, we highly recommend that all users other than the System Administrator be restricted from using this option. Please refer to section titled System Security Features for more information on restricting users from selected menu items.

 

Note:  As of Version 10.0, the Master List Centers (ie. Employee List, Clients List, Job List, etc) can be used by most users to interrogate the data on the Centers that they have permission to view.  The Master List Grids make all data fields available to view by the user including User Defined Fields.
