A repair utility which was created to identify Change Order Request Log entries that are linked to the wrong Change Order number. A bug existed whereby the linked COR entries were wrong in certain situations and should only have occurred prior to the 8.4.0.0 software update. This repair utility will UNLINK any COR that is connected to an invalid CO and produce a report of any problem COR Numbers that were discovered. Once these COR Entries are unlinked by the utility, you will need to attach them to the proper CO via the Project Management Log. The repair utility can be run as follows:
| 1. | Run an AccuBuild Backup of each company where the Project Management Logs are being used. |
| 2. | Open AccuBuild and select the PM Log Fix Utility from the Help Menu. (Note: Be sure to reset your menu if you cannot see this option on the Help Menu). Proceed as follows: |
| § | The file path for the BaseGlob.add table will be set up automatically. If you need to browse to another install of AccuBuild, use the button located on the right side of the BaseGlob.ADD Path field to browse to the desired Data Folder under the AccuBuild Program Folder (AccuBld8 Folder by default) and select the BaseGlob.ADD file. |
| § | Click the Process Button to start the repair utility process. |
| § | Review the results on the screen and print the results as desired. A copy of the report will be saved in the DATA Folder where the BASEGLOB.ADD file was opened and new file will be create each time the utility is run. The report file will be named as follows: COFIXyyyymmddtttttt.log where yyyymmddtttttt represent the date and time the report was created. |
| § | If any COR Log entries were cleared by the repair utility they will be listed in the results report. These COR Log entries will need to be re-attached to their respective CO via the Project Management Log. |
