The billing phase field allows for multiple items to be assigned to the same billing phase. In other words, multiple items that are assigned the same billing phase, will be summarized on a single line whenever a contract billing is generated.
As shown in this example, item 1 is assigned billing phase 100.00, items 2 and 4 are summarized under billing phase 200.00, and items 3 and 5 are summarized under billing phase 300.00. Also note that the contract amounts can be manually entered under this option, or the contract amounts can be automatically calculated by AccuBuild with the Automatic Billing Breakdown option in the Job Cost system.
