ACCUBUILD DESKTOP - NEW FEATURE

 

The AccuBuild Desktop has been completely redesigned with a new, more user-friendly interface that helps companies operate more efficiently and make faster, better business decisions.

 

Fully customizable for each user, the new desktop allows shortcuts and links to be created to AccuBuild menus, reports as well as non-AccuBuild programs, local or network directories and websites.  All user security for modules, menus and reports remain intact.

 

Create custom data views based on existing system and customized MAR reports.

 

Create graphical views of your data based on a MAR report.

 

The new Support Menu option gives you shortcuts to AccuBuild University for training videos, remote support programs, support request email, and access to a new AccuBuild IT Support website.

 

 

ACCUBUILD MOBILE

 

ENHANCEMENT - The AccuBuild Mobile Settings Screen has been enhanced to allow separate time card field display settings for users that login from the mobile app and those payroll clerks that process the entries from the time card worksheet screen.

 

 

GENERAL LEDGER

 

CORRECTION - The 'Add Item' feature on the Bank Reconciliation program has been fixed.  This option was accidentally disabled in Version 8.5.0.8.  

 

 

JOB COST

 

ENHANCEMENT - CONTRACT BILLING - The Contract Billing screen has been revised with a new button called Automatic Billing Options which replaces the Auto 100, Auto Retn, and Sched % buttons on the screen.  These options are still available with the Automatic Billing Options button along with a new option called Automatic Sub Payment Sheet %.  This new payment sheet option allows you to generate sub payment sheets first and then use those percentages of completion to update the current billing to the customer.

 

NEW FEATURE - SUB PAYMENT SHEET / ESTIMATE BUYOUTS - This new menu option on the Job Cost menu gives you a more user-friendly method to 'buyout' a budget item with a subcontractor payment sheet.  Select a budget item on a job, enter the subcontractor payment sheet information and let the system do the 'in/out' entries for you.  This option can also be used to move budget amounts from one phase to another.  

 

MY ACCUBUILD REPORTS (MAR)

 

ENHANCEMENT - PAYROLL TAX FORM 941 - IRS Form 941 has been updated with the 2012 changes, however, it is still a 'draft' copy which means that you may use this form to help you generate the information that you need to fill out the form online.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

 

ENHANCEMENT - USER MAINTENANCE - The Mobile Settings Tab on the User Maintenance Screen has been modified to allow restrictions to the various menu options within the AccuBuild Mobile Application.  For example, the user can be allowed to enter time card entries but can be restricted from viewing the employee list.  These restrictions are completely separate from the user restrictions in the accounting program.

 

 

ACCUIMPORT.EXE - NEW FEATURE

 

A new utility program will be installed in the AccuBld8 program folder with this update.  This utility will allow you to import accounts payable invoices and journal entries from a spreadsheet.  This utility can be used in new data conversions where the history from an old system can be exported into a spreadsheet.  New columns may need to be added to the spreadsheet in order to accommodate AccuBuild specific information.  The utility will walk you through the process of mapping the spreadsheet to the necessary fields within AccuBuild and then it will create a user batch of a/p invoices or journal entries.
