Windows Compatibility Enhancements

•Updated the following options on the AccuBuild Help Menu to install without the need to disable Windows UAC Security Controls in order to work with newer versions of Windows including Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. These routines will now prompt for user credentials before attempting to install the following options:

•Register Help Files

•Install AccuBuild Fonts

•Install Outlook Security Manager

•Install PDF DLL Files

•Install AccuBuild Office Add In Module

•A new client setup program is now available for setting up workstations with AccuBuild. This new version installs without the need to disable Windows UAC Security Controls in order to work with newer versions of Windows including Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The client setup program is called AccubuildClientSetup.exe and is located in the \Accubld8\ClientSetup\ directory.

Note:  After using this version of the client install, you will need to manually create a shortcut to the AccuBuild Program. Also, for Windows XP workstations, you will want to use the original workstation setup program called AbEnterpriseworkstation.EXE.

PAYROLL

•Correction - The posting process for payroll was not updating the General Ledger properly for the FICA Payable account for payrolls that contained exempt FICA Taxes under the 2010 HIRE Act.  The temporary work around was to run the Ledger – Integrity Tests – Update GL Master option after posting payroll.  The problem has been corrected in this update.
