Inventory - Enhancement

The Inventory List by Job report has been enhanced to include the balance of items to be requested. In addition the part number field has been expanded to show the complete part number and description.

Purchase Order Enhancements

A new setting has been added to the purchase order properties screen for handling purchase order number assignments in network environments where multiple users are creating purchase orders at the same time. The new Multi User Mode setting will force the next available purchase to be incremented by one each time a new order is created so that other users will not be assigned the same order number.

The Warning Screen for direct cost account on stock order items that are ordered for specific jobs has been suppressed. Job items on stock orders are posted to inventory and the warning was being displayed because inventory is not a direct cost account.

Purchase Order Corrections

On stock requests, vendor information was being saved with the requests which is non applicable for these types of orders. This had no impact on the requests and has been corrected.

The Stock Order Pick List for Job Inventory now calculates the quantity as the balance left to request instead of quantity based on fulfillments.
|
User Defined Fields Enhancements
The User Defined Fields (UDFs) that were introduced in version 8.4 were causing some screens to load and perform slower in certain network environments. The following screens and functions were modified to enhance speed performance:

Update Jobs The Job List screen has been modified to load quicker and switch between jobs faster. A new status indicator at the bottom of the Job Info Tab which displays the elapsed time in seconds and milliseconds that it takes to switch from one job to another.

A/P Integrity Tests The Update Sub Pmt Sheet Totals option has been enhanced to complete this process much faster.

Clients The Client List (Vendors / Customers / Clients) has been modified to load and perform quicker.

J/C Integrity Tests The All Tests option has been modified for faster processing.
