1.The Properties option on the Trucking Menu must be set up prior to creating any dispatch entries, freight bills or citrus billings.  This option contains the various billing defaults for both citrus and freight billings.

 

2.The master lists located in the Controls option of the Trucking Menu must also be set up before any dispatch log is entered into the system.  This option contains the master lists for PUC classifications, hand tag codes, and employee control fields.

 

3.After the trucking properties and the trucking system controls have been set up, then customer information may be added to the system by selecting the Customers option on the Trucking Menu.  The employee file contains all of the basic employee information including tax withholding, base pay rate, and miscellaneous pay and deduction rates.
