Request for Information (RFI) Log |
Top Previous Next |
The Request for Information (RFI) Log is used to document all questions and issues that arise during the course of construction on a project. An RFI entry may develop into a Change Order Request (COR) or may simply be answered and closed. If an RFI does turn into a COR, it can be linked to the COR entry along with all other related paperwork and documentation.
The RFI screen contains two tabs of information: the RFI and Correspondence. Although the features on the Correspondence Tab are optional, they help to automate the work flow process for RFIs which makes them easier to track.
This screen also contains buttons to create Tasks and Events for the current user as well as other users. Please refer to the section titled My Day for more information on using and securing these functions.
