Process Document Batches

Top  Previous  Next

This feature is used to index previously scanned or imported documents that were saved for processing at a later date.  One or more batches may be processed at the same time. Selected pages from any batch can also be processed without processing the entire batch.  Any documents that are not processed will be saved in the batch for future processing.

Follow these steps to process previously scanned or imported documents:

Select one of more batches from the batch list.  The document batches will be displayed in the thumbnail viewer on the upper-left side of the screen.

Locate the documents to be imported using the Open button at the bottom of the screen.  Once the document(s) have been opened, they will be displayed in the thumbnail viewer on the upper-left side of the screen.

The documents may be indexed immediately by using the Index button or the documents can be saved for future processing by simply closing the screen or pressing the Cancel button.

If you choose to delete a batch of documents before they have been indexed, simply open the batch in this screen.  The documents will be displayed in the thumbnail viewer on the upper-left side of the screen.  Right-click on the first document to display the pop-up menu and then choose select all documents to group select all of the documents in the batch.  Right-mouse click on the first document again to view the menu and select delete selected documents.
