Job Cost Overview

The Job Cost module is the heart of AccuBuild's accounting system.  The system has been designed to be quite flexible in order to meet the reporting needs of most contractors.  All sections of the job cost module should be thoroughly reviewed prior to setting up the system so that all issues are taken into consideration as the Job Cost system is fully integrated with all of the other modules including Document Management.

 

Each job may be created with an unlimited number of cost estimates and billing items, and contract billings are generated through the Job Cost system rather than the Receivables system. Expense amounts derived from the other accounting modules are accumulated by job and phase number and a variety of contract status reports may be printed.
