Dispatch File Maintenance

The Dispatch File Maintenance option is used to perform routine maintenance on the current dispatch log to move the billed dispatched entries to the historical dispatch file.  This option can be performed as needed and is recommended to keep the current dispatch log manageable over a network environment.  When this option is selected, all of the billed entries in the current dispatch log (dispatch.adt) are copied to the historical dispatch log (disphist.adt) and physically deleted from the current dispatch log.  The log entries to be moved are identified by the 'CLOSE_OUT'  field set to true.  Click on the OK Button to start the process, and all of the entries that are moved to the historical log will be listed in the dialog window.  

NOTE: This routine should only be performed when all other users are out of the system.
