Import Job Estimate File

When a contract has been awarded, the job's estimated costs (budget amounts) and schedule of values (contract amounts) need to be set up on the Detail Items Tab of the Job Master.  If your job contains a lot of items, you may want to use the Import Job Estimate Files option to automatically enter this information into AccuBuild. In order to use this option, your estimating program must be able to export the data into an Excel Spreadsheet file format.

 

Note: The import from an ASCII file is only available in the BDE Version of AccuBuild.  Any ASCII table that needs to be imported can be opened with Excel and then saved as a spreadsheet before importing to AccuBuild.
