How to Remove the Disclaimer Notice on the Forms (Prior to 9.0.0.3)

The AccuBuild Preliminary Notice Form and the Lien Releases are provided as templates only and you will need to modify these documents to meet the legal requirements for your company.  These forms contain a disclaimer notice that must be removed before you can change the text of the form.

 

1. To remove the disclaimer, click on Clients > ADMS Forms and select the form.  For lien releases, you will need to click on the lien type (conditional upon progress, unconditional upon progress, etc).

 

2. Click the Edit option at the top of the screen and then click Modify Form.  This will open the Design screen with ReportBuilder Pro.

 

3. Click on the AccuBuild Disclaimer (hard hat image) in the middle of the screen.  

 

4. Press the delete button on your keboard to delete the disclaimer image.

 

5. Click File > Save As.  Save this file with a different name such as YourCompanyName_prelim.rtm.

 

6. Click File > Exit.   From now on, when YOU go into this report, the system will display your new format.

 

7. Each user that will use this custom format will need to load the new report under their user name.  To do this, the user logs into AccuBuild, then selects Clients > ADMS Forms and selects the forms.

 

8. Click Edit > Modify Form.

 

9. Click File > Open and then select the new report name from the list.  From this point on, the system will display the custom format whenever the user prints the form.

 

10.  Use the modify option to make any changes to the wording on the form as you see fit.  You can then save your changes to the same custom report name that you used earlier.

 

11.  Each lien release type is saved as a separate file name so you will need to modify and rename each of the four lien releases.
