Running the Documents Integrity Tests

Top  Previous  Next

When the All Tests option is selected on the Documents > Integrity Tests menu, AccuBuild will begin testing for any problems or discrepancies in the ADMS. The AccuBuild Progress Information box will display each stage of the testing process.  If errors are detected, the progress box will display the error beneath the test name. The user should then print the error message and call AccuBuild Technical Support for assistance.

The following is a brief description of the tests that will be performed when the All Tests Option is selected:

Check for Missing Documents – This test will check for documents that have been deleted from the disk outside of the ADMS.  Each document master record in the ADMS contains the actual file name and location where the physical document is stored on the file server.  Unless the document has been deleted or marked as archived, it should exist on the disk at the location indicated by the document master record.  If any documents cannot be found, they will be listed on the integrity test report.

Check For Non-Indexed Documents – This test checks each document master record to see if all of the index fields are blank.   The non-indexed documents can be quickly identified by selecting the Non Indexed Docs on the Document List Screen.  Simply click on the non-indexed document and select the View Document Properties option to change the document links.

Check For Missing Documents in Batch List – This test will remove from the disk any missing document listed on the batch list.

Check Master / Detail Record Integrity – This test will check for transaction audit records that have no associated master record.  If records are found by this test it means that the master/detail file relationship integrity has been compromised.
