Prior to entering any vendor or customer information, you will need to set up the properties in the Clients Module.
•Next Available Client Number - Client numbers can be manually assigned to each client/vendor in the database, however it is recommended that you let the system default with the next available number.
•Miscellaneous Codes 1 - 3 - These fields may be used for classifying the client database. Once defined, these field descriptions will appear on the Client List > Account Tab. The first two fields are alpha/numeric (both letters and numbers can be entered), and the third field is numeric only. As an example, you may wish to use one of these fields to classify all subcontractors by trade. Once you have established a coding scheme for your database, a custom report may be created using My AccuBuild Reports (Reports module) to print a selected list of clients. Keep in mind that these codes are strictly optional and do not have to be defined before entering other client information into the system.
•User Defined Fields - Client List - This feature expands the miscellaneous code fields discussed above. •Company Logo for ADMS Forms - This screen displays the default company logo which will be used for all My AccuBuild Reports (MAR) Forms. The default logo (yellow hardhat) is named rbcologo.jpg and is located in the \Accubld8\Reports directory. In order to override the default logo with your company logo, you MUST create a logo using the JPEG format and name the file rbcologo.jpg and place the logo into your company folder (ie. N:\Accubld8\ConstCo\).
Be sure to read the documentation on modifying the forms and creating form assignments. If you do not want to use a logo on your documents, then be sure to rename the rbcologo.jpg file in the Reports directory.
