The Billing Defaults Tab controls the default printing of the signature lines and the billing certification on the contract billings. This information will then be automatically entered on the Update Jobs > Billing Info Tab of each new job that is set up in the Job Cost system. Please note that the user may modify this information for each job as necessary.

Signatures


 The Signatures section of the screen contains default fields for the signature line titles that are printed on the summary page of the AIA and Standard 1 and 2 billing formats. The titles that are entered into these fields will be printed on the billings along with a signature line for the person approving the billing. These fields are self-explanatory with the exception of the 'contractor' signature field. The contractor signature field should contain the title of the person that will be representing your company. If signature approvals are not required on your billings, then these fields may be left blank.

 

 

Billing Certification


 A default statement certifying that the billing is a true representation of the work completed may be set up in the Billing Certification fields. This statement will then be printed on each contract billing. Up to three lines can be entered and any lines that are left blank will be ignored. If a billing certification is not required for your company's contract billings, then leave these lines blank.
