GENERAL LEDGER

CORRECTION - A problem was discovered with the new GL Detail Reports when multiple miscellaneous invoices containing job numbers were entered into the same batch. These new reports include a new GLJob report which holds the job number that the g\l transactions are associated with for non-job-cost transactions (such as customer invoices and receipts) and this field has to be created based on a series of query statements for historical transactions. Please refer to the MAR documentation below for more information.

JOB COST

NEW FORMAT - A new billing format has been added to the MAR Reports Library which contains a complete detail supporting history of all billing items that are associated with change orders. The original contract items are still summarized by billing phase however, for change order items, the complete supporting detail lines are exposed on the new form:

JCBill1D.211 - AccuBuild Schedule of Values - Change Order Detail

NEW REPORT - A new job cost report and report class was added to the MAR Report Library and contains all of the job totals as of the report cutoff date, but limits the cost transactions in the report to a range of dates including the summary by G\L Account.

MY ACCUBUILD REPORTS

CORRECTION - A problem was discovered with the new GL Detail Reports when multiple miscellaneous invoices containing job numbers were entered into the same batch. These new reports include a new GLJob report which holds the job number that the g\l transactions are associated with for non-job-cost transactions (such as customer invoices and receipts) and this field has to be created based on a series of query statements for historical transactions. Note: In order to have accurate job numbers on miscellaneous invoices that are entered in the same batch, be sure that the invoice description is unique when multiple invoices in the same batch are for the same amount so that the system can obtain the correct job number. If a unique entry for the invoice description and amount cannot be obtained, the records will be identified on the report in red as "Undetermined Job" to help identify the batch that the invoice belongs to. Changing the invoice description in these situations will resolve the job numbering issue.

In conjunction with the above query changes for the GLJob field in the g/l transaction records, the following reports have been modified to identify any transactions where the associated job number cannot be determined:

GLREP01A.651 – General Ledger Detail – Account Order

GLREP01B.652 – General Ledger Detail – Batch Order

GLREP01C.653 – General Ledger Detail – Source Code Order

GLREP01D.654 – General Ledger Detail – Job Order

GLREP01E.651 – General Ledger Detail – Account Order - Summary

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

ENHANCEMENT - Main Program Start Up Change - Code changes were made to the program start up routines to make sure the all of the required system tables exist in the DATA folder. This change will help to alert users when files are missing when the AccuBuild Uninstall program is run from a workstation. In some instances, the system scheduling tables were being removed during the uninstall process and it was very difficult to determine why the AccuBuild program was not launching.  If these tables are missing, they will now be automatically recreated and the user will then be notified to get the latest update from the AccuBuild Website. The missing tables include:

ENHANCEMENT - New Support Options - The AccuBuild support knowledge base of all support solutions is now available to end users. These are the same solutions that our support technicians use to troubleshoot customer problems. The Support Menu option titled "IT Admin Support Notes" has been changed in this release to "Knowledge Base / Support Documentation". This will be very useful for in-house IT staff and system administrators to search for solutions.
