Document Management (ADMS) – Correction

When opening a document for editing and the option entitled: Prompt user on double-click for Open Mode is enabled, a new copy of the document was allowed to be opened, even though it was already checked out and should not have allowed the open to continue.  This problem has been corrected and the document will no longer be opened if it has been checked out.

MAR Reports – Excel Export Update

The Excel Export option in the MAR Report Screen was exporting the number columns as text instead of numbers.  This issue has been corrected and the columns will now export as numbers.

The Job Cost Transactions – Posting Date Reports were not working properly for the drill down link to related documents and were printed over the cost data making it hard to read the link – these links now display correctly.  The following are the 2 reports that were updated:

The Closeout Log now contains a new field for the Work Area reference.

Project Management – My Day Calendar Bug Fix

The Events on the My Day Calendar were not synchronizing properly and if a new event was added in Outlook, it was not being added to AccuBuild.  The Event synchronization process has been retooled to work using the following business rules:

o

New Events added in AccuBuild will be added to Outlook.

o

New Events added in Outlook will be added to AccuBuild.

o

Changes to Event Information in AccuBuild will be updated in Outlook.

o

Changed to Event Information in Outlook with be updated in AccuBuild.

o

Events deleted in Outlook will NOT be deleted in AccuBuild.

o

Events deleted in AccuBuild will be deleted in Outlook if the user picks the option to delete the Event in both systems.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.

If an event is deleted in Outlook and NOT deleted in AccuBuild, OR if an event is deleted in AccuBuild but not deleted in Outlook, the event will end up being added back to the calendar on the next synchronization process.  Therefore, if you delete an Event, be sure to delete it from both systems.  This is a built-in safety mechanism in AccuBuild to make sure that events are not deleted by mistake, especially on an initial synchronization process.
