PAYROLL – CORRECTION

 

Fixed the FICA Warning Message from being displayed when the settings are correct: WARNING - The FICA Cutoff Limit has not been set up for 2009. This warning message was being displayed even though the FICA Cutoff Limit for 2009 was set up correctly.

 

JOB COST - CORRECTION

 

The Detail Items Tab on the Job List (Update Jobs) was allowing for blank detail item records to be added when scrolling past the last record on the grid.  This problem as been corrected.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT – CORRECTION

 

The Documents Panel in the Project Management Log was not showing documents on closed jobs.  This problem has been corrected.

 

MAR REPORTS – CORRECTION

 

When sending reports and forms as attachments from the MAR Report Window, an 'invalid function" message was being generated from Outlook.  This message has been trapped and will no longer be displayed.

 

ADMS - CORRECTION

 

When modified documents were filed back in ADMS, they were always being filed as a "revised" document even when the user's ADMS Settings were set for replacing the original document.  Original documents will now be replaced properly according to the user's setting for this option.

 

ADMS – ENHANCEMENTS

 

Two new user settings under User Maintenance have been added for ADMS (Document Management) for further customization of how documents are handled at the user level:

 

Prompt user on double-click for Open Mode (Edit or Read-Only) – This is a new feature which allows you to decide whether or not you would like to open a document in Edit Mode for changing or in Read Only Mode for viewing after you double click on the document.  Previously you could only set how the double-click option behaved, but when this option is enabled, you will be prompted for how you would like to open the file.

 

Enable User-Friendly File Name when opening documents – This option can be used to expand the name of the file that is opened in order to make it easier to identify the document.  ADMS uses a naming convention for all documents that are stored in the system and these documents are identified by ID Number in order for ADMS to file modified documents properly back into the AccuBuild System when the documents are saved.  This document Id name makes it hard to decipher the document description when it is opened up with third party application software such as Microsoft Word or Excel.  When this setting is enabled, the document will be opened under the normal ADMS File name with the Document Description appended to the end of the file name.  This will help the end user to identify the document and insure that any document changes are filed properly after they have been saved.

 

JOB COST – ENHANCEMENTS

 

A new MAR Report has been added to the Job Cost Report Library called Production Units Capsheet Report which can be used to compare estimated production unit costs to actual production unit cost and project remaining costs to complete based on actual unit costs incurred to date.

 

A new menu option has been added to the Job Cost Menu entitled Enter Production Units which is used to enter unit production transactions with transaction dates directly to any job cost phase.  The transaction entries will update the Production Units accumulator on each cost phase and allow for reporting on the actual production unit costs versus the estimated unit costs.
