Updated Federal Withholding Tax Tables for 2007.

 

Updated tax withholding tables for 2007 for the following states:

 

Alabama - No withholding tax changes required for 2008.

California - Withholding tables have been updated for 2008.

Colorado - No withholding tax changes required for 2008.

Indiana - Withholding tables have been updated for 2008.

Iowa - No withholding tax changes required for 2008.

Maine - Withholding tables have been updated for 2008.

 

Maryland - The tax jurisdiction of Allegany was the only rate change for 2008 which changed from 2.93% to 3.05%.

 

Michigan - Tax rate changed in October 2007 and annual exemption amount increased by $100 for 2008.

Minnesota - Withholding tables have been updated for 2008.

Nebraska - Withholding tables have been updated for 2008.

 

North Carolina - No withholding tax changes required for 2008. Removed 100,000 tax bracket for Married Employees and 120,000 tax bracket for Single Employees.

 

Oregon - For 2008, the personal exemption was changed to $169, the standard deduction for single employees was changed to $1825, the standard deduction for married employees was changed to $3650, and the Federal Tax subtraction amount was changed to $5600.

Utah - Withholding tables updated for new tax calculation method effective for 2008.

Wish List - The Subcontractor Payment Sheets have been updated to include the subcontractor's phone and fax numbers.

Enhancement - Added new MAR versions of the following contract billing formats:

AIA Format (AccuBuild Version); Subcontractor, AIA Pre-Printed Forms. Ver. 8301 Green

Modified the AccuBuild version of the AIA contract billing format (MAR format).  Billing now groups detail lines by original contract and change order items.  Page headers on second and subsequent pages now include billing information in addition to the column headings. Ver. 8301 Maroon

Corrected the pre-printed AIA Contract Billing Format (MAR format).   The Balance to Finish amount on G702 has been corrected and the Previous Billing amounts on the detail lines of the G703 now show gross amounts instead of net amount (after retention). Ver. 8301 Maroon

Enhancement - The Reprint Contract Billings option has been enhanced to handle both MAR and Traditional versions of the contract billings. Ver. 8301 Green

New Feature - The Contract Billing Data Pipe now contains the client number (na_no), the sub payment sheet control number (sub_na_no) and the name of the subcontractor on each billing line when the billing phase is linked to a subcontractor.  These fields can be accessed to design a Contractor's Sworn Statements. Enhancement - New security features added to client list for Adding and Editing client information.  The Add, Edit, Lookup Customer Activity, and the Lookup Vendor Activity button can now be secured in both user and group security settings so that users can view but not change any information. Note: You will need to reset your toolbar in order to use these new security settings. Ver. 8301 Green

Wish List - The Lien Release Screen has been modified to show the Job Address instead of the Job Description and the check box for including the Job Description in the Job Address field has been relabeled from 'Include Address in Desc' to 'Include Job Desc in Address'.  In addition, the Owner's name will now be printed on the lien release forms and the job address will be pulled from the Job Address field on the dialog screen.  These changes now allow the Owner's Name and Job Address to be modified on screen before preview on the form. Enhancement - The Transmittal Letter now allows unlimited text in the Comments field which was previously limited to 250 characters. Note: You will need to modify the Transmittal Letter Form to accommodate the extra space needed for the additional text. Ver. 8301 Blue

Enhancement - Added new layout forms to the Client Reports Library which can be used to layout data to be printed on pre-printed forms.  These forms contain a series of yellow bars and grid lines which are NOT visible on the printout but allow for the layout of the data to be much earlier using inches for measuring on the top and the left hand side. Note: This layout was used for the new payroll 941 Quarterly Reports and Schedule B formats. Ver. 8301 Green

The Committed Cost Report in MAR was not working correctly on some machines.  This has now been corrected. Ver. 8301 Purple

Corrected exception error "is not a valid floating point value" that was displayed when closing any of the ADMS Form Screens. Ver. 8301 Blue

Enhancements - The new Project Contact List displays the contact information of all companies that have been added as team members on a project.  In addition to the owner, architect and main contractor on the job, all categories are listed along with the associated company name and the individual contacts within each company.  Only those individuals who have been added to the team list will be displayed on the report.

 

Note: It is recommended that a category be set up for the contractor, owner and architect along with team members from each of these companies so that they will be included on the report. Ver. 8301 Blue

Enhancement - The Change Order Request Screen has been expanded under the Impact Section to include the Proposed Cost of the Change Order, the Profit and Overhead Markup, and the Total Contract Amount which is the sum of the proposed cost plus the markup.  Prior to this update, only the proposed cost of the change order was available.  In addition, the Change Order Form has been revised to show the Total Contract Amount, the category description and category contractor name has been added to the form. Corrected problem that caused error message "The discovery process for the Advantage Database Server failed" when adding log items in the PM after installing the 8301 Blue update. Ver. 8301 Red

Enhancement - If a change order is deleted form the PM Log, all of the related COR and RFI entries will be reset as candidates for new Change Orders.  Previously, these items were left linked to the original change order and could not be attached again.  If you do NOT want these entries to be associated with future change orders, then simply change the status of each item accordingly. Ver. 8301 Green

The Dashboard for Sales Trends has been corrected in the Command Center.  Sales in Prior Year 4 were being reported with Prior Year 5 sales figures. Ver. 8301 Green

All of the Company Template files in the Samples\Template Folder and the Samples\TestData Folder have been updated with corrections to the global settings. Ver. 8301 Blue

The Install PDF Files Option on the Help Menu has been updated to install two of the required DLL files from the AccuBuild Folder instead of the user's directory as this was causing some system to NOT register these DLL files properly. Ver. 8301 Green
