PAYROLL - NEW FEATURE - Certified Payroll XML Export

 

As of June 4th, 2015, The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is requiring that all certified payroll reports be submitted online using the eCPR system. The eCPR System allows the payroll information to be entered manually online or by uploading a compatible XML file for each weekly report. AccuBuild has developed a new type of custom report process that will allow the certified payrolls to be exported to the new XML format. This reporting process consists of additional fields to be set up on each job and in the payroll properties, along with a new certified payroll report that allows for automatic creation of XML files after the report is previewed.

 

Once you have this new feature installed in your AccuBuild System, you will want to follow the instructions on the DIR Website for checking the XML file against the XML Schema Spec BEFORE uploading the XML Report. The DIR has provided complete instructions and video overview along with software tools to test your XML files.

07/21/2015 - Version 9303 BLUE – Corrected problem where blank records and multiple employee records were created in XML Output File.

 

07/23/2015 - Version 9303 RED – Corrected problem where same check number was repeated for each employee and adjusted the alignment for each day number for companies where the payroll week ends on a day other than Saturday.

Corrected problem where the certified accumulator # 10 mappings were not showing up in the XML File.

 

Changed the cosmetic layout of the certified payroll printed reports for a wider check number field in order to compensation for the direct deposit check numbers in the 700,000,00 range.

 

07/28/2015 - Version 9303 MAROON

 

Updated the accumulator total field for the deductions and benefits to include the state and federal taxes in the total amount. Previously only the benefits 1-10 were included in the total.

 

Changed the formulas on the benefit fields 1-10 to show the absolute value of the amount so that negative amounts (deductions) are shown as positive amounts. NOTE: The total amount for benefits and deductions is not based on the absolute value in each of the CPR Accumulator fields.

 

Updated the SQL Script to remove any ampersand ‘&” from the contractorName and the contractAgency fields as the XLM file will not open up with these invalid characters in the field.

 

Corrected issue where multiple checks for the same employee on the same job for the same week ending date were not showing correctly as separate entries.

Corrected problems where the XML files could not be created on selected file servers where the server name had a dash “-“ in the server name and the SQL was failing.
