Install Advantage ODBC Driver on Workstation

•Determine the version of the Advantage Database Server you are using by selecting the Session Info option from the Help Menu in AccuBuild and scrolling down to the section entitled [ADS Server Information]. Be sure to look at the first TWO digits of the Version line so that you can get the appropriate ODBC driver (7,0, 7.1, 8.0 etc.)

•Note:  If you are using Advantage Database Server 9.0 or 9.1 then do NOT use driver version 9.0 or 9.1 at this time.  Use version 8.1 until further notice.

•Download and install the appropriate ODBC Driver from the advantage website using the following link: http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz/content.aspx?Key=20 .  Save the file to your desktop and then double click the saved file to start the installation.  Allow the installation to install the driver to the default location on the local drive.
