Folder Selection

The Folder Selection option and associated Filter Options allow you to choose the source location for the documents.  The folder selections include Clients, Employees, Equipment, Inventory, Jobs (All Jobs or Single Job) and Orders.  Filter options will be displayed depending on the folder selected.  For example, if the Clients folder is selected, then you will be able to filter for vendors, customers or all clients.

 

Once a folder selection is made, folders are created dynamically for all the database records within the selected folder.  For example, if the Clients folder and the vendor filter is selected, then folders for each vendor will be automatically created.  The explorer window will also display any user defined folders along with all of the associated documents within these folders.  

 

Note: Only the folders and documents that the user has permission to access are displayed in the explorer window.
