The Equipment Cost Utilization Report by G/L Account (eqrep07.rpt) provides an analysis of the total equipment expense (summarized by general ledger account) to the total of the allocated rental cost account(s). An over/(under) utilization amount is derived by subtracting the allocated rental amount from the total equipment expense. This report also displays the total hours rented for the period and derives a cost per hour by dividing the total expense amount by the total hours rented.  A comparison of rental income can also be generated on this report.
