COR - Distribute Response

Use this option when other parties need to be notified of the COR response. If you do not need to notify anyone of the COR Response, simply continue on with the Close RFI process. The following process occurs automatically when the Distribute Response Button on the COR Correspondence Tab is selected:

1.	The COR record is updated for the following fields:

§	Answer Dist. Date - Updated with the current date.

§	Status Code - Automatically set to Response Distributed.

§	Status Date - Updated with the Answer Dist. Date.

2.	The Distribute Answer Button is disabled.

3.	A transaction record is created automatically with a date and time stamp to document the flow of the RFI being distributed. Be sure to update the following fields in the transaction record for documentation and correspondence purposes:

Sent To / From – This field is disabled as the distribution list may include several parties.

Contact – This field is disabled for this process.

Notes – Optional field to record any notes regarding the distribution of the COR.

Send… - Use this option to create a transmittal letter to send with the COR Response. After previewing the form, a copy of the transmittal will be automatically saved in corresponding log documents.
