Auto Create Company Index Tables

This is a check box menu option which when selected will cause any missing ADI tables in the company directory to be created when the company is opened.  When a company is opened by any user, all of the company tables are checked in the company folder to make sure they exist.  If a company file is missing (including ADT, ADI, or ADM) then an error is displayed and the company will not be opened until the files are restored. Files should NEVER be missing from the company folder.  

 

If files are missing, it indicates that they have been deleted which may have occurred if someone tried to UNINSTALL the AccuBuild workstation software.  Tables may also be unintentionally deleted by a user when browsing the directories in which the AccuBuild program and data files reside.  Missing ADT or ADM files are SERIOUS issues and the user should contact AccuBuild's Technical Support Staff for assistance.

 

If any index file is missing (ADI Table), then it can be recreated automatically during the Open Company process as long as the Auto Create Company Index Tables menu option has been selected (checked).  Also, if an index table seems to have problems, it can be renamed or deleted and then recreated automatically using this menu option.
