PROJECT MANAGEMENT  - COR LOG ENHANCEMENTS

The COR Log has been enhanced with new detail pricing options and new linking methods to make the process of creating COR Proposals and linking COR amounts to the accounting system much more user friendly.  Each Category in a COR can now contain multiple breakdown items which are entered via a new detail pricing screen. This will now allow project managers to create detailed cost proposals for CORs directly inside the AccuBuild System and the detail cost breakdowns will be automatically linked to the COR Log for each category that is included in the COR.

New features have been added to the COR Screen for notifying the user if any accounting links need to be handled when a COR is marked as closed.

The PM Log has a new pop-up menu option for COR Log entries called COR Price Breakdowns which will let you open the price breakdown screen directly from the COR Log.

The COR Entry Screen has a new tab which displays the detailed cost breakdown items.  In addition, a new button has been added to the form to jump directly to the new COR Price Breakdown Screen.

A new COR Accounting Links screen has been created to make the process for linking COR Breakdown line items much easier and to insure that and changed on the COR Log are reflected in the accounting system for jobs that have the automatic accounting updates enabled.

The old method for linking COR Log entries to the accounting system have been eliminated in this update and is replaced with the new linking methods. Any COR entries that have been linked using the old methods will still remain and show up in the COR Linking Status Reports for backwards compatibility. Note: If you want to create new cost breakdown records on COR Items that were linked using the old method, you will need to clear the old link(s) first for all categories involved in the COR.

The MAR reports for COR Link Status Information have been updated to include links created under the old method and the new linking method. There are now 4 Link Status Reports available:

PMRep06.811 - COR Link Status Report - Original Links Only

PMRep06A.811 - COR Link Status Report - Original Links Only – Warnings Only

PMRep05.810 – COR Link Status Report – Both Link Types

PMRep05A.810 – COR Link Status Report – Both Link Types – Warnings Only

The MAR data-pipes for all COR Forms have been updated to include all related breakdown cost items for each category in a COR. The new user table which contains these cost breakdown entries is called "CORPRICEBREAKDOWNDATA.ADT".

The MAR Library Forms for COR have been updated with the new price breakdown data-pipe included on the Data Tab which can be used as a reference if you need to add this new data pipe to any existing custom COR Forms. In addition, three new COR forms have been added to the library which include the new price breakdown records:

PMCOR4.321 – New COR Form which includes new price breakdown totals called "Change Order Request / Proposal - Detail Pricing"

PMCOR5.321 – New COR Form which includes new price breakdown totals called "Change Order Request Summary of Categories - Detail Pricing"

PMCOR6.321 – New COR Form which includes new price breakdown totals called "Change Order Request – Price Quote"

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

CORRECTION - When the Project Management Log is displayed for the first time, the ADMS folders for the first log will be created automatically instead of needing to move to the next job in order to create the ADMS folders.

CORRECTION - The option for closing a COR as "NOT Approved – Amend" was not working properly to create a new amended COR Log Entry. This problem has been corrected.
