Print Setup

The Print Setup option allows you to assign any attached local or network printer as the default printer for the AccuBuild reports.

Name - Click the down arrow to display the list of printers that have been installed on your system.  Highlight the desired printer and press Enter. The selected printer name should now appear in the Name field.

Paper Size and Orientation - The paper size will automatically default to 'Letter' and the orientation will default to 'Portrait'. There is no need to change the defaults as the reports in AccuBuild will tell the printer which paper size is needed and whether the report or form will be printed in portrait or landscape mode.

Paper Source - If your printer has several paper trays to choose from, then the Paper Source field may be changed from 'Automatically Select' to any of the options available from the drop down list.

Note: If you find that reports do not fully print a line or character, such as the bottom portion of the letter 'p' or 'y', then try adjusting the Graphics Mode setting in Windows. By changing this mode to Raster, the printing problems may be eliminated. To access this feature, select Start from your Windows Desktop, select Setting and then Printers. Right-click the desired printer icon and select Properties from the pop-up menu. The Properties Screen varies with the version of Windows that you are running. Please refer to the following examples for the name of the tab and options to select.

Windows 95: Change Graphics Mode to 'Raster' and Text Mode to 'TrueType as Graphics'

Windows 98: Change Graphics Mode to 'Use raster graphics' and TrueType fonts to 'Print TrueType as Graphics'
