Running the Payroll Integrity Tests

This option allows the user to periodically perform a series of integrity tests on the data in the Payroll system.  These tests, with the exception of the update option(s), are also performed automatically with the System Administrator > Month End option.

 

The Payroll Integrity Tests consist of two options: All Tests and Update Employee Totals.  The All Tests option runs a series of integrity tests on all of the payroll files to check for errors or corruption in the files. The update option is used to update the master file totals whenever errors are generated in the payroll system that indicate a conflict between the master list and the detail files.
