Inventory Adjustments

To adjustment the quantity or amount on hand due to theft or rounding, use the Inventory Transfers option.  

Example:  

•Part XYZ-12345  

Quantity on Hand as of 12/31/2020 = 0

Amount on Hand as of  12/31/2020 = $-28.00

To write off the amount on hand without changing the quantity on hand:

•Entry One:  Enter an Inventory Transfer dated 12/31/2020 with a quantity of 1 with the unit price of -$28.00

•Entry Two:  Enter an Inventory Transfer dated 12/31/2020 with a quantity of -1 with the unit price of $0.00
