Enable Automatic Form Resizing

The AccuBuild System automatically sizes the program screens based on the default resolution of the user's monitor.  The Enable Automatic Form Resizing feature allows the user to change the program screen size based on a percentage of the original screen form design size.  This allows you to run the program under any screen resolution.  This setting can be easily accessed by right-clicking on the AccuBuild logo in the middle of the main screen and then selecting the Set Screen Size menu option.  

 

The default setting is 100% of the original design size which uses 640 by 480 screen resolution.  Set the screen percentage setting and click Test Screen Size. The screen will close and then reopen under the new size setting.  This process can be repeated until the desired size has been obtained.

Valid settings are from 100% to 300%.  Select Save to record  the desired setting.  (Your new setting will not be saved unless you have clicked Test Screen Size first.)  Select Reset to Default Size to change the settings back to 640 by 480 screen resolution.

 

The following settings control the form resizing settings the AB7FORMS.ini file:

The AB7FORMS.ini file is located in the Accutemp folder which is located in the following directory:

 

 Version 7:  C:\

 Version 8:  C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\AccuBuild\

 

Disable Automatic Form Resizing

 
The automatic form resizing feature can be de-activated by un-checking the Enable Automatic Form Resizing menu option on the Help menu each time you open the program.  
 
To permanently disable this feature,  change the properties on the AccuBuild shortcut icon on your desktop as follows:

 

In the Target Box, add a space and the word FALSE after the AccuBuild program name.  For example: "C:\AccuBuild\Accubld.exe FALSE".
