The encryption key has changed since the software was run previously.  

 

Scenario:   Occurred when customer (payroll processor for multiple companies) setup a new company and later tried to create the Aatrix 941 tax form.

 

Solution:  

1.Be sure the following items have been added to the new company:

a.Add a new client in the Client menu with your client information, and then add the client number to the File > System Administrator > Configuration screen.   Verify that the Federal Tax ID number on this screen is correct.

b.Review the Payroll > W-2s > Properties Button screen.  

i.The tax ID on the "Printed W-2 Settings Tab' must match the Configuration screen.  

ii.Verify that the tax ID on the EFW2 Employer Info Tab and the EFW2 Submitter Info Tab does NOT contain a dash.  

c.Review the Payables > Reports > 1099s > Properties Button screen.  

i.The tax ID on the Printed 1099 Settings Tab must match the Configuration screen.

ii.Be sure the tax ID on the Mag Media Payer Info Tab does NOT contain a dash.  

2.Every company in AB contains an Aatrix > History folder.  This folder creates tables based on the info provided, but in the scenario above the EIN file was retaining the old EIN number plus the new tax ID number.  

a.RENAME all the tables listed below and new tables will be created when accessing the Aatrix tax form.
